Day 5:
For Mother's Day we left Paris, TX and headed towards Gainesville, TX. We have a couple of off days to relax and read models before our next big storm system moves in on Tuesday. This well deserved downtime is appreciated after driving 2,013 miles in only 5 days. Once we got settled in, we went to Chilli's for dinner. I had a steak, but I hope we get to go to Amarillo, TX to the Big Texan to get a real steak. Afterwards we all went down to the pool and played games like little kids. Games such as Marco Polo and Categories. It didn't take long for all of us to crash because just the thought of being able to sleep a little later (till 9:00) was wonderful.
